UX, best practices and usability auditing

We work on UX audits adapted to the maturity level of each project: from heuristic analysis and best practices, to advanced audits with research, behavioral design and CRO.

UX audit for websites and ecommerce

We analyze the user experience of your website to understand how people navigate, how they find information and what frictions appear along the way.

This audit allows us to have a clear and shared vision of the current state of the web, identify risks, prioritize improvements and lay a solid foundation for the evolution of the digital product, aligning business objectives and user needs.

UX auditing for software and SaaS

We review the interaction, user flows and efficiency of your digital platform or SaaS, identifying usability barriers and opportunities for improvement.

We focus on making the use of the software intuitive, functional and aligned with the needs of the end user .

Behavioral Design

We understand your product through behavior.

We integrate Behavioral Mapping into our methodology to see what is not seen: real decisions, frictions and motivations.

A validated framework that helps us understand how people interact with your product and where the opportunities are to improve their experience.

Our approach
CRO

We check what is really going on.

We apply CRO as a validation tool within advanced UX audits.

We analyze actual data, behavior and flows to test whether the hypotheses raised about frictions, blockages or experience errors hold true and what impact they have on the product.

We do not assume. We checked.

Our approach

This is how we do it

First contact

Before analyzing the user experience, we meet with you to understand your business, objectives and current challenges. This way we can have the full context of your industry and write conclusions and actionable insights that are truly aligned with your project.

We conducted an exhaustive investigation

“You know the competition better than we do.”

That is the idea. Conduct a thorough investigation of how your competitors work at the business level, strategies, products and, of course, how is their information architecture (try to understand why) and how they work the usability of their digital products. It is in this phase where we find weak points where we can define actionable to make your project shine.

We audit your digital product

After mapping your platform and researching your competition, we perform a comprehensive audit based on a checklist of best practices for web, ecommerce or software. We review each insight identified, evaluating if it meets the standards of usability, accessibility and user experience.

If a point is not met, we write a clear recommendation, a concrete example of a good implementation and a prioritization based on its impact on conversion, retention and overall experience. In this way, we ensure that each proposed improvement is actionable and effective in optimizing your digital product.

Presentation of the audit and highlighted actionables

In the final session, we present the most critical audit points and priority improvements. We focus on the points that generate the most friction and explain why they should be optimized.

We show concrete examples, competitive references and strategic opportunities that can make a difference in your digital product. All this, in an online meeting in which we analyze together the final deliverable and resolve any doubts so that you have a clear and actionable action plan.

Questions, not so often asked...

🔍 What exactly is a UX audit and how is it different from a complete redesign?

A UX audit is an in-depth analysis of how users use your product or digital platform. We review every detail to detect barriers, friction points and identify opportunities to improve user experience and satisfaction.

Unlike a complete redesign, we don’t start from scratch or change the entire product: we give you a clear report with prioritized recommendations and practical examples of how to improve what you already have, so you can act quickly and focus on what really adds value.

Our UX audit process is divided into four key phases: first, we conduct one or more meetings with you and your team to understand the strategic, business, marketing and design context. Then, we ask you for competitor references (or we research them ourselves) to benchmark your platform within the industry.

With all this information, we carry out the complete audit, analyzing by blocks and flows the points of improvement and good practices. Finally, we present all the findings in a session with you, resolving doubts and prioritizing the next steps.

A UX audit is especially useful when you notice that something is not working quite right. Users may get lost when navigating, abandon key processes, or you receive frequent comments about confusion or difficulty of use. It is also very valuable before scaling the product or launching new features, as it allows you to validate that the foundation is solid and that you are not dragging usability issues into more complex phases.

In short, an audit helps you to detect problems and opportunities in time, and to make more confident decisions before investing more resources.

The duration depends on the scope of the project: auditing a simple website is not the same as auditing a more complex SaaS platform. In most cases, a UX audit is completed in about 3-5 weeks, although more complex projects may require more time. Our goal is to balance depth and agility, so that you receive useful findings in a realistic and actionable timeframe.

The cost of a UX audit depends on the type of product, its complexity and the level of detail required. For example, auditing a simple corporate website does not have the same scope as analyzing a SaaS platform with multiple flows and functionalities. In all cases, we elaborate a tailor-made proposal, transparent and adapted to your needs.

You will receive two main deliverables: on the one hand, a mini benchmark of competitors (direct or indirect) that allows us to contextualize your platform within the sector and detect opportunities or applicable best practices; and on the other hand, a full report with all the usability insights detected on your website.

Each insight includes: the name of the item, a clear description, a specific recommendation to solve it, a visual example of how other websites apply it, the priority assigned (low, medium or high) and an evaluation of whether or not your website currently meets that item. This will give you a clear picture of both what works and what should be improved.

Yes, even if you do not provide us with direct competitors, we carry out an exhaustive research to find relevant references: they can be indirect competitors, industry benchmarks, similar solutions in other markets or products with a similar proposal to yours. The idea is not only to compare yourself with “your competition”, but to understand how similar challenges are being solved in the market and to detect opportunities or blind spots. This mini benchmark is part of the final deliverables and provides valuable context to the audit.

Before performing the audit, we conduct one or more meetings with you to understand in depth the business context, strategic objectives, type of users and how the platform works. These sessions allow us to detect sensitive or priority areas and align with your vision. Only after this immersion process do we perform the benchmark and audit, making sure that all recommendations are fully adapted to your reality and objectives.

We audit all types of digital solutions: from e-commerce and online stores, to corporate websites, landings, platforms, web applications or catalog websites. It doesn’t matter if you are in the start-up phase or if you already have a product in production: we can help you detect usability issues and discover improvement opportunities that will boost your users’ experience.

We do not follow a single closed heuristic. Our approach combines years of experience applying best practices in usability, accessibility and user-centered design, with recognized principles such as Nielsen heuristics or universal design. In addition, we add our own methodology based on the analysis of real user behavior, industry experience, visual consistency and conversion optimization, which allows us to adapt each audit to the reality of your product.

Yes, absolutely. Our goal is to help you make good decisions, not to impose them. We give you each audited item with a recommended priority, but you decide if that priority fits your current context. In addition, we are always available to resolve doubts or review the approach together if you need it. The audit is a living and collaborative tool.

It depends on the plan you choose. In some cases we include visual proposals (mockups or wireframes) for improvement, especially if the problem detected has a direct implication in the visual experience or user flow. If your case requires it, we can include it as part of the plan or as an extra, always adapted to your needs.

Yes, once the audit is finished, we not only deliver the report, but we can also accompany you throughout the improvement process. We can help you design new screens or flows, create prototypes, test with users and support your team in the technical implementation. Thus, the recommendations do not remain on paper: we help you turn the findings into concrete actions that improve the experience of your users.
